Research has directly linked meats with nitrates to cardiovascular issues. “They have high sodium, unhealthy saturated fats and those concerning preservatives like nitrates”.

While enjoying a hot dog or some bacon every now and then is alright, frequently consuming processed meats can gradually put you at a high risk of developing cancer. In fact they’re one of the most well-known carcinogens, and especially increase your chances of colorectal cancer.
